A roastery, café and wine bar.
We roast our own organic beans and pour classic coffee drinks by day, then wine and beer as the evening comes in, right in your neighborhood.
Settle in with friends, a cup of coffee or a bottle of wine.

Coffee
Classic coffee drinks from organic beans roasted a few feet from where they’re poured, with breakfast sandwiches, paninis and grab-and-go alongside. Couches, café tables and bar seating.

Wine
Wine, beer and coffee-inspired cocktails, with seasonal small plates and charcuterie boards to keep the conversation flowing.

The outdoor lounge
Shaded seating out front for groups that want to spread out, with water bowls for the dogs and enough room to pull chairs together. Open from the first pour of the morning until the last glass of the night.
We roast our own organic beans.
The roaster sits in the room with you. Beans come off it in the morning, rest a few days, then go into the hopper and onto the shelf. Nothing travels far.
“We envisioned a place where guests can settle in, enjoy a great cup of coffee or a glass of wine, catch up with friends, have a bite to eat, work, read, or simply relax in a welcoming setting.” — Mackenzie Ryan, owner

Arlington, Virginia
A 2,234-square-foot café next to Bearded Goat Barber, in The Village at Shirlington.
Planned hours

Jody Hessler and Mackenzie Ryan have spent years in Arlington’s coffee and hospitality scene, within a few miles of Campbell Avenue.
The Roasted Vine is the room they wanted for their own neighborhood, where the regulars and their dogs already know each other and anyone new can pull up a chair and meet them.
Be here for the first pour.
One email when we set an opening date. Another when the roaster fires up. Nothing else.
